Jeremy is just amazing to do business with. From design through installation and follow-up, he went above and beyond. Love our shades! His crew was great. A truly great customer experience! Highly recommend.

I found Southern Custom Shutters through the manufacturer of my retractible screens (Fenetex) that were installed on my outdoor porch on Hilton Head Island. One of my three screens had died and I needed to have it repaired. From the minute I called them, my customer experience was fantastic. I left a message and had a call back by the end of the day. Jeremy, the owner, called and we had a great conversation about how to proceed. I scheduled my appointment out several weeks which SCS then followed up on to make sure we were still on. The two men who showed up were polite, professional and immediately started diagnosing the problem. Within about 15 minutes, they had determined what was happening which was going to require a follow up in order to address an unusual electrical issue. Within an hour after they left, Jeremy again followed up and we scheduled the next appt quickly. Jeremy came with the team and he was able to fix the bad wiring issue (no new motor required!) and get me back to full operations within a couple hours. Additionally, they had to take apart custom casing to even get to the motor area. They removed and re-set all of the materials like they were never there – highly appreciated that! Overall, GREAT service, professional and personable guys, and these guys hustle. I would strongly recommend them for motorized screens, shutters or any of their other services.

Jeremy was amazing to work with. We were looking to install vinyl motorized screen room shades and every price we were getting was just way too high. A friend sent me a Facebook ad for Southern Custom Shutters and I decided to take a chance. We are so glad we did, from the initial meeting to install, Jeremy did everything he said he would, when he said he would and for the price we agreed upon. The install crew was amazing and the crew and Jeremy were all professional and provided an excellent experience. We couldn’t be happier. Looking forward to using our screened in porch in the winter and keeping pollen out in the spring!!

Having just purchased a new home with a screened porch I wanted to get some remote control pollen control shades for the porch – I’ve had 20+ years dealing with the low country pollen and did not want to do that anymore. I looked into a number of companies who offer this service and am so glad I went with Jeremy. Not only was his knowledge and pricing well above the rest he is a pleasure to deal with. Installation occurred when I wasn’t home and he met with me the next day to review everything. I couldn’t be happier with my “new room” and have already had a number of people ask to come see it and share his contact info. The best money and the best choice I’ve made for this house so far!

Used Southern Custom Shutters for our new home in Bluffton and couldn’t be more pleased. Everything looks beautiful and it was a pleasure working with Jeremy, we were not home during the installation and he kept us updated during the entire process with texts and photos. Plus Southern Custom Shutters was the best estimate for what we needed
